Last weekend, on July 2nd and 3rd, Lionesa Business Hub was one of the visiting points integrated in the itinerary of 7th edition of Open House Porto, in 2022.
During this period, Lionesa BH opened its doors to all visitors and provided information about its history, concept, new projects in bloom and perspectives for the future. The visitors also had the opportunity to follow commented visits by experts related to our project.
On July 2nd, at 3pm, there was a guided tour with Architect Duarte Cardoso, from CBRE, to present the restyling project of our Central Corridor and how it was designed with a focus on the use of space from the perspective of people and the replication of university ecosystems to facilitate the transition of talent from university to the market. The day ended with the official Sunset Party of Open House Porto 2022, in Lionesa Business Hub’ central corridor, with lot of fun and networking.
On July 3rd, three guided tours were held: the first with architect Marco Rondoni, who took the participants on a journey through time from the Lionesa Silk Factory to the Lionesa Business Hub and its future for 2025. This was followed by a visit with artist Filipe Granja, known as Mynameisnotsem, who spoke about the Lionesa Business Hub's commitment to art and culture and took the visitors through the various art exhibitions present in our space and their inspiration. Finally, Architect Burmester took the group to visit one of the new Lionesa BH buildings, still under construction, which represents the new concept for the future.
All participants also had the possibility to access, through QR Codes, various informative contents about different points of the Lionesa Business Hub: Lionesa Business Hub – History, Central Corridor, Open Air Gallery and Lionesa Business Hub 2025.
This year's edition of Open House Porto was, once again, hosted by Casa de Arquitetura but with a strategic partnership unique in the world, with 4 cities coming together for the event: Porto, Matosinhos, Vila Nova de Gaia and Maia. The curatorship was in charge of Graça Correia and Joel Cleto.
