It's a Woman's World

On March 10th 2022, Lionesa Business Hub, in partnership with the Portuguese Women in Tech, promoted the conference "It's a Woman's World" to celebrate the International Women's Day.

The conference had the participation, as speakers, of Ana Sofia Henriques, Head of Shared Services Center at Klöckner Pentaplast, Patrícia Almeida Catarino, vice-president at CGI and Márcia Pereira, CEO at Bandora. In a one hour conversation, the speakers shared their experience and points of view about the role of women in technology, workplace and society in the 21st century.

Moderated by Inês Santos Silva, co-founder of Portuguese Women in Tech, the conference also hosted a networking cocktail between speakers and participants, to foster better knowledge sharing and contacts.

Portuguese Women in Tech, a community born in 2016, aims to attract more women to the area of technology and create more opportunities for those already working in the area.
