Lionesa Business Hub celebrates International Women's Day with a cultural twist.
On March 8th, in Lionesa BH’s central corridor, an art exhibition was installed in partnership with the Now Upon a Time project, developed by the North American creative agency, The Martin Agency, which will be on display throughout the month of March.
Now Upon a Time is a storytelling project that reimagines classic fairytales with modern, empowering messages. The art exhibition will feature six short stories rewritten by Now Upon a Time, which Lionesa community will be able to listen to through a sound installation with a direct link to podcast episodes, in which the stories are narrated by the creators of these reinvented tales.
The purpose of this partnership is the celebration of International Women's Day with a twist, through the sharing of strong stories, with female characters that we have always known but that can also change and keep up with the evolution of times.
The stories on display are Sue White (Snow White), Lil'Ruby (Little Red Riding Hood), La Bella Durmiente (Sleeping Beauty), Izzy (Rumplestilskin), Rapunzel, and The Little Mermaid.
In addition, during lunchtime on March 8th, women of Lionesa community had the opportunity to take home their own portrait done by a Fine Art artist.
